Instructions:
Bake the cake as directed on the package, then allow it to cool fully
In a large bowl, crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs
Mix the frosting thoroughly with the cake crumbs after adding it
Place the cake mixture on a baking sheet that has been lined by shaping it into small balls
To make each cake ball resemble an ice cream cone, insert an ice cream cone into it
According to the directions on the package, melted candy melts in various colors
Make sure every cake pop is completely covered by dipping it into the melted candy
Let extra run off
While the candy coating is still wet, decorate with desired toppings or sprinkles
To allow the decorated cake pops to fully set, place them inside a foam block
They are ready to be served once the candy coating has set
