Ingredients:
- 4 chicken breasts
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 lemons, juiced and zested
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes to make the marinade
Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish, and pour the marinade over them
Ensure the chicken is well coated
Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat
Remove chicken from marinade and discard excess marinade
Grill chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165F 75C and the juices run clear
Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving
Serve hot, garnished with fresh lemon slices and chopped parsley if desired
